Scope of Service Experience
|
In addition to his commercial real estate experience, Mr. Scott was the creator, President and CEO of the successful His Choice, (Fine Gifts for Men) Inc. retail stores serving as its President for twenty years Mr. Scott led the store’s operations and management, including national marketing, corporate strategies and the training of sales and service staff members. Mr. Scott also served as an Associate Professor of business at Iowa Western Community College where he taught courses in managerial finance, marketing and legal concepts. In addition, Mr. Scott created the Center for Business and Management Development for Iowa Western Community College, which assisted business owners in designing specialized seminars based on company needs and analyses.
Mr. Scott also served, upon request, as Adjunct Professor of managerial finance, marketng, and legal concepts at Nebraska Wesleyan University, Grace University and Metropolitan Technical Community College respectively. Mr. Scott has been a guest lecturer at the University of Nebraska. Today, Fred specializes in Office, Industrial and Church Buildings & Land - Locating, Selling, Buying and Leasing and site analysis and assisting in arranging financing of these properties.
Church building sales and acquisitions are a favorite part of Fred’s practice.

Mr. Scott earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Indiana University and a Master of Business degree from the University of Iowa. He continued specialized graduate studies at the University of Missouri.
